- ★ ★ ★ ★ ☆Customer service is none existent. I rang to report a defective Mammoth Security chain, which was only discovered with having to replace a chain sleeve that was heavily weathered in less than 12 months. One of the chain links has clearly disfigured during the welding process. Bearing in mind this is supposedly a Thatcham approved chain the link has been crushed so thin, even the smallest of bolt cutter would cut through it. Told to return it to where it was bought from so they could return it to them for inspection despite supplying a clear photograph. So to do this I have to buy a second Thatcham chain lock to protect my bike. As this security device is declared to my insurer I darent leave it unprotected... Ill be sticking to Oxford security products from now on!By andyconnell, January 27, 2019
